Just a tad Ridiculous

Sometimes I just can't help it. The whole day starts to veer off in its own direction and things start going crazy. And it's fun. Maybe that's why people like coming in to see us, you just never know what's going to happen on Wednesday!
Like today when Nicole came in. It was when she started asking about the Steam-a-Seam that I just realized I totally could not remember the difference between Steam-a-Seam and Steam-a-Seam 2. Isn't regular SaS repositionable as well? I used some tonight and I had no trouble repositioning my big error. Anyway, I was all ridiculous about the whole thing and I'm sure Nicole just rolled her eyes and thought yeah sure whatever, let me out of here. But she was a good sport. But I bet she was calling Sara on the phone on the way home saying wow, that PamKittyMorning is a nut case. (and I'm sure she' s not far off with that whole line of thinking)

No, she surely didn't do that, look how sweet she is. Very nice. I hope she didn't get scared and will come back again.
So on my list of things to do today was kit up Follow Your Heart for Elizabeth's book signing event.
These are the two piles we came up with. I think they're both pretty. I'm making a pile at home as well, trying to use up some of the things I own. Shocker I know!!!

So it was a totally fun day! Seriously. I hope Nicole had fun as well, and a safe ride home. And Leslie my dear, have a lovely visit with darling daughter Addie and our favorite football hero Maurice this weekend!!! But come back. Because it's not Wednesday without you !!!

Hugs all around my peoples! I think you're all the greatest.

P.S. Elizabeth is having a drawing for her new book, so head on over to her blog and comment for you chance to win!

I was glad to read on Nicole's blog that she had a good quilting therapy. Sometimes you need it to help center yourself. I'll have to check out Elizabeth's blog. I'm so amazed at the inspiration I get from blogging. What, you're suppose to use fabric from your stash?!?! Happy quilting!

Hmmm, I always use SAS 2. It never occured to me that they might be the same. I must have chosen based on something on the package. LOL

Both piles are pretty - but I like the second one the best. Thanks for sharing the pic of Nicole, I have been reading her blog for a while.

I wish I lived in California to come visit this wonderful shop I read about at Nicole's blog. That would be a mighty expensive shopping trip from NH. But I've been know to do crazier things!

Glad you got to meet Nicole. Nice picture of her. I left a note on her blog earlier this morning. My dad's family moved to Livermore when he was a toddler and he lived there until he went away to college. I have such happy memories of summers and holidays at Grandma's house and the homes of my aunts, uncles and cousins. During my college years in San Francisco I spent a lot of weekend there with family. None of them live there anymore so I don't get down your way often. After reading your blog and Nicole's blog, in my dreams I've started a trip back to reminisce and shop and chat at your store! Sounds like a good idea. If it ever really happens, I'll let you know I'm coming! And I'll try to meet Nicole there, too.

What a lovely picture of Nicole--she's so young! How old is Sara, anyway, like 12? Those fabric piles are adorable and I can't wait to see more (as always)! ~A :-)

OK, I don't know who Nicole is and now I'm feeling a little out of the loop. It's a quilting thing, isn't it? In any case, she's lovely and doesn't look at all like she'd be put off by a spazzy PKM!

I think I'm off to find out all about Nicole.

And visit Elizabeth's blog. But not for free stuff. I swear!

I am so hooked on In Between Stitches! Do you guys pipe in some kind of special pheromones through the AC system or something? Some elixr that makes your shop so irresistible? I can't wait to get back over there, and have to warn you that I may become a regular! Thanks for your hospitality and friendship!
