Trouble in Paradise

It's always something around here.

This time, even after carefully prepping the walls, this paint peeled off. Down to the paint before last. What the heck? Thankfully by then end of the day Sunday it was done. Well you know, painted. Done is a whole different story.

Oh my, I have a feeling a whole lot of priming was involved!

Sine I already said "what the heck" in email, not gonna say it again. But I see I'm not alone. I think you should check your paint can. I'm guessing the paint you picked is called "WTH".

Big fat suck fest. Wish I could help!

That happened to me once. What a mess. The under paint was oil. But probably not your problem. However, I do remember what a pain it was to fix and clean up. Glad for you that part is done. Remodeling is not my favorite thing but when its done its nice.

Exactly what Nanette said. The underneath paint was oil based. What did you do to remedy?

Don't even talk to me about projects. We're only 2/3 of the way through the 1,200 sq. ft. of tile we're laying and grouting. Did I mention how much I hate grout?

It's tough business keeping a house runnin'! I didn't realize I missed out on so much mayhem over here while I took a remodeling hiatus of my own! It looks like you're on top of things. Love the bathroom floor & cabinets - so shiny and clean!

this my dear Pam is why I want to sell the house and be done with it. I'm tired of the endless endless quest to make it all run smoothly. It's exhausting I tell you!!!!!

I hear the clarion call to SIMPLIFY. Time will tell how good I am at actually heeding the call.

Ahhh. . . celebrating in the "done" part. . .!! (even though the road there was a long one!)
As far as me. . . I'm not feeling the done part yet - I still have one room (my bedroom) still to paint. I got 2 done & then. . . well let's say I'm trying to trick myself into it. . . Ha!

Hey at least it's all done now and you can focus on the ruffles for that shower curtain you ARE going to make.
