January

January is being awfully kind to us here in Northern California. It's a bit of a cruelty as well, since we need the water winter rains might bring.

Still, one must make the best of it.

Bitter cold at night but lovely days. You are right, though, we need some rain. Our group is going up to Tuolumne in February for a quilt retreat so I wouldn't mind if it didn't rain then, though. Enjoy the sunshine!

Altho my sinuses don't like this weather!
Well, I'm heading out--hope to open the sunroof!

All you Californians need to stop posting your temperatures. It's 9 degrees for a high temp today in NH and it's going to be well below zero tomorrow. Help me escape!

OH!!! What I wouldn't give to have it 75 here in Ohio! It was 3 this morning when I woke up and the wind chill was 14 below! Please enjoy some warm air and sunshine for me!

Did you get those roses done? Been working on mine every day this week and I thought of you today while I was out back clipping away.

It is freezing (only in the 30's-finally broke the 20's) here. But, one month from now I can buy my bare root roses--Look out swingset, here comes New Dawn. Just in time for Bambi to eat...
I'll trade the cold for the Northern CA warm, just let me know!

Pam, I was so happy to discover your blog through the comment you left on mine. It only took your banner to hook me! Another talented quilter! I've made my puzzle easier for people who may not read my stories. My giveaways are always puzzles. They have been so much fun. I hope you will try again. Hint:flickr
Happy to meet you! Elizabeth

I think if my thermometer showed that number, my car's "brain" would tell me it would need servicing.
