Good Morning!

How goes it? Was the weekend good? I got a lot done around here. My goal was to finish the center of my Simple Abundance quilt, and I did. Need to throw some borders on it and get it ready for the quilter. Check out my quilty best friends.. not the crazy rabbit from Frankie but the quilt tags... I think they're called Row by Row, Quilt Block Layout tags (by Quilt Dance). I love them. My design wall is not near my sewing machine so I use them to keep me organized. I like them better than sticky tags or tape. Anyway, I was dillydallying and suddenly I realized that wow, Quilt Market is not that far away. Most others have realized this already but it just crept up on me. I guess I better get busy if I want to have anything ready.
Ok, its mostly sewing and staying in here. The weather is heating back up. I'm trying not to be bitter about it. What's doing with you?

Some day I need to get some of those row markers. I always use post-it notes and we all know how well those stick -- especially repeatedly to fabric. Disaster is sure to follow! That bunny is hilarious. We are finally getting some actual summer weather here. And I say, ewwwwwwwww, I'm sticking to myself.

I finished a half pint Thimbleberry top and put on five bindings. I can sit underneath the air vent and bind.

How many quilt markets are there? Didn't you just come back from one?

Too bad about the heating up. It's not unbearable here for a change. California was heating up the last couple of days so I'm ready for cooler weather.

Ahhh summer. I'm reading your blog, drinking my coffee... have my phone to me ear as I wait for Toyota to find my car payment last month... the payment I made but they posted to someone else's account. So if you know anyone who's got a Toyota and who had a payment made for them... that would be me!

I love those little tags, Pam - I found them last year and without a a design wall, they are a life-saver!
Cheers!

I have started a couple of quilts and decided I didn't like them and then restarted them, and then today I went to see Julie and Julia!

With a first grandchild and wedding in October and everything else it is like anything else in the fall doesn't even seem to be happening. This will be one time I'll be glad I'm not at market but I'll sure enjoy seeing your reports from there.
