Good Morning!

So how was the weekend peoples? We had an impromptu visit from Frankie at the end of last week which was a lovely treat.
It was nice and sunny yesterday, so we did some miscellaneous stuff in the yard. Nothing exciting, just basic yard cleanup. It was a very relaxing day. Honestly we could be professional relaxers.. its a gift people.
In other news, Alex gave me a couple of Honey Bear patterns and 4-in-1 tools to share with you... so as usual leave a comment and I'll draw some names later in the week, lets say Thursday?
I'm going to have to turn word verification back on for a while, the spam comments are driving me nuts. I hate to do it as I know it's a hassle for you guys. If it doesn't slow down the weirdos then I'll turn it back off.
So that's it people. What's new with you?

I have started to clean out my studio! It's a HUGE job!!! Our guild is having a purging sale and I'm hoping to make millions!!! (LOL well, a couple of hundred maybe) I should have started at the beginning of the weekend. Today is Family Day here in Alberta, Canada so it's a day off and I can get back out there!!!

Somewhere I read that if you set the word verification for comments to only be for posts that are older than 14 days, it will solve the problem? For some reason, most spam hits older posts which is lucky -- that way current post commenters don't have to do the word verification. Have your spams been attached to older posts and would that work for you?

I would love to get some UFO's finished but with the kitchen table as my work space (that has to be cleared off for meals) and 3 kids (9-14) that have to be shuttled around I have no time! I only ever get things worked on when I am taking a class. I guess I have to take more classes then!

Good Morning to you PKM! It's a fine day in Chico and I am off to sew with friends at Honey Run. Finished a Rounierres Charm Quilt this weekend and am getting ready to teach Liberated Baskets again at Morning Star on Saturday. And it's Lulu's 26th birthday today! Mexican food for dinner, yippee! I had just seen that darling AA pattern advertised somewhere and thought oooohhh I want that! And a cool tool? Yes! So drop my name in the bucket for the drawing. And have a mighty fine week! We babysat our 2 grandsons over night. When they got picked up Sunday and were gone, my husband asked me, "Was that just 24 hours or were they here for a week?"!! We were tired. So no sewing for me this weekend. No yard work either as the ground that is showing is frozen. Supposed to get 8-10 inches tomorrow. We've had very little snow this year so I guess I'm due. They've been getting it all south of us.

I would be please to participate in your giveaway. So far this year I have 18 projects finished and more to be added to the list soon. I am always excited to read your blog.

I think your comment field is easy, so I don't mind. Happy face.
