Wednesday!

So peeps, what did you do with your Wednesday? I spent the morning at the Hayward Hall of Justice (honestly, shouldn't some Super Friends be there?) in the jury room. But, I was totally lucky! Except for the first round pick of folks, we were excused around 11!! Then our parking was free! I couldn't believe my luck. It made waiting outside in the 32 degree morning chill for my turn through the metal detectors seem like no big deal.

Totally squandered my afternoon. Did some reading, some dancing, some organizing. But felt like it was a crazy bonus day off so I lived it up. What did you do Super Friends?

Wednesday was a planning day for today! Yesterday was my turn to go to the eye doctor for a checkup, so now I can spend the day working on my embroidery blocks.

Started this BOM a few years back, but since this is my "Finish It Up or Else" year, I have 5 1/2 blocks done and I'm on my way!

I must admit it was going to work as usual. But the evening was a delight. I got to watch my two grand daughters for the evening. We read and then got tucked in for the night. A chilly but beautiful drive home afterwards. The moon was bright and it was so clear out. Hope you have a great Thursday!

I had a productive day. I pieced and quilted a table runner for a LQS to display. It felt good to get something done.

Last time I had jury duty I was there till after noon and then had to come back the next day. Luckily they settled, but it did take quite a bit of my time. When they dismissed us they told us it was a human trafficking case any the guy settled for 20 years. It might have been an interesting case to sit on. But I was glad to not have to hear the details.

After my day job, I made dinner. My sweet husband took care of the clean up so that I could work on my birdie of the month quilt from last year. Since I am so far behind on my sewing, I am spending this year trying to gett caught up.

Too bad I don't have a blog to post my progress, that just might keep me motivated.

Happy to hear your day was enjoyable and you got to DANCE!

DYING over your mug! And the blocks! And the PILLOW! Obviously I'm miles away from Hayward, which works just fine for me. Now if I can just get to my machine, I'll be working on that project you've assigned me!
